To uplift Honda in the struggle for high
sales in the competitive D-sector saloon market, two new
versions of the Accord will be launched in September.
In 2007, sales of the Accord
are on the increase. Its hasten sales is already 68 per cent higher and the car
continues to win industry awards for its improvements, handling and
practicality. Nonetheless, the feedback of the customers has intimidated the maker
of Honda cold air intake to unveil two new grades
of the model in the
Head of Sales for Honda (UK)
Bernard Bradley said that the Accord always places almost in the top spot of
owner surveys. He concluded that its drivers love the car. He further explained
that their dealers told them that new buyers, especially those from the
corporate sector, want a version that blends the modern technology offered by high-end
models, with more of the sporting countenances from other Accords in the range.
As a result, the result is the new Sport GT will be launched.

nimble handling with performance car styling and high-grade equipment, the new
Sport GT 2.2 i-CTDi has the following standard features:

Starting September 1, the New
Sport GT will be priced at £20,767 (OTR).
The
Honda SE (
The
new Accord SE features a diesel engine and is powered by Honda’s much-lauded
2.2-litre i-CTDi engine. Aiming at acting as a ‘Price Fighter’, the new SE has
been developed as an entry-level diesel Accord.
Bernard Bradley said that the
car is a new keenly-priced one that pursues the theme of Accord, which has always
been to deliver a high-spec saloon with the quality the customer expect from a
Honda – but at an enormously competitive price, with low running costs. He
added that in terms of money value, the Accord SE beats most cars in the
sector, even the new arrivals.
It may be priced at a highly
competitive £18,600 (OTR) but it assures remarkably well-equipped features such
as the 16-inch alloys, stability assist, 6-speed gearbox, and Bluetooth Hands
Free Telephone that are all fitted as standard.
In addition to that, the new Honda SE offers a cleaner,
low-consumption 2.2-litre i-CTDi engine on board and the low list price.
Honda fanatics just need to
wait for September to come in order to purchase either of these amazing cars.
