The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) is truly unique in the world of associations. The difference? We very thoughtfully and diligently go about developing (or obtaining) the spectrum of services and support infrastructure necessary to assure our members can succeed in the disciplines our association supports. Currently, we support professionals providing business valuation, financial litigation consulting and fraud deterrence services. This support includes training and certifying practitioners to provide these services both competently and in conformance with NACVA established standards of quality. Beyond this, we offer over 50 courses of advanced training, in-house research services (some free and some for a fee), marketing and business development support, proprietary software and databases to perform analyses and write reports, mentoring and report review services unparalleled in most professional disciplines, and a broad array of professional development tools and publications too numerous to list here, but found on this site.\ \ \ \ Within NACVA’s 6,000 plus membership, most of whom are certified, you will find the leaders of these disciplines and the force responsible for most of the literature and training developed in the last decade in the field of business valuation. NACVA’s credentials, like our training, are respected worldwide because of the high standards we have established for both applicants and designees. Once designated, one must recertify every three years. We are the only association in our discipline that has in place defined programs for recertifying designees that emphasize the importance of both being “current” with industry developments and the components of “quality” in one’s work product. These programs, like everything else you will learn about NACVA, are indicative of our determination to be the best and boast the best professionals in the fields of business valuation, financial litigation consulting and fraud deterrence. \ \ \ \ Membership in NACVA is open to any professional who carries an interest in the disciplines we support. It is not required that a member become certified, nor is it required that one be a member to take advantage of our training, products and services, though we do have a few programs that are exclusively for members. Different levels of membership and annual dues structure are available depending on one’s interest in pursuing a NACVA certification and depending on one’s professional status, e.g., practitioner, academic, or government. You can learn more about NACVA here on our web site or by calling a Member Services Representative at (800) 677-2009. To find a qualified professional anywhere in the United States by location and/or area or industry expertise, our directory is accessible from the home page by clicking on “Credentialed Member Directory.
