Madison Heights, Michigan, June 12, 2007 - In just over a month, eScavengers.com has experienced a successful launch, with an excellent response from the public. Having gained over 3,000 members in a short period of time, they are on their way to becoming the internet's premier online scavenger hunt site. eScavengers. com hosts online scavenger hunts that members can join free of charge to compete for valuable prizes. The "adventurous" web site is exiting its Beta 2.0 stage and entering into its highly anticipated version 3.0. To date, the site together with its sponsors has run 28 "Adventures" and given away over $18,000 in prizes. As of Tuesday, June 12th, the site boasts over 3.8 million hits and 56,000 unique visitors. "We've been reaching a consumer base that's spread throughout the nation, and even internationally," says Zac Ball, co-owner of Way Creative Media, LLC, the creators of eScavengers. In response to a user from the UK's comment that Adventure times over there were "awkward", Zac explains that, "when the time comes that we have enough sponsors, we will be running Adventures at all times of the day to accommodate an even larger pool of players." Currently the site is offering an average of two Adventures per week, but plans to eventually host them daily. The prizes handed out have also been varied on a large scale. Giveaways have included Nintendo Wiis, Sony PSPs, a Philips 42" plasma HDTV, digital cameras, laptops and computers, printers, iPods, jewelry, tools, household items, sporting equipment, and hundreds of dollars in gift cards. These items and more are what draw users to join and compete. "As more users sign up, more sponsors jump on board, and so on," explains Ball. An adventurer from the friendly online community Gottabet commented, "I think it's [eScavengers] very likely to grow rapidly and become hugely popular… your site is up there with the best I've seen!" The development team at Way Creative agrees, and remarks that things will only get better. They have planned for version 3.0 to include an online blog/forum, a referral program and a messaging center.
