Tequila is one of the fastest growing industries within the past 30 years. Many people in the United States are just becoming aware of the wonderful taste that tequila can have. It is not just that terrible tequila shot that tastes like rubbing alcohol when you were a kid. Tequila has come a long way in taste and style. In fact, there is many a discriminating consumer out there that is willing to pay top dollar for good tequila. But, we knew that, as there are more and more companies out there bottling and distributing this Mexican delight.
Not only is tequila known for having a wonderfully diverse taste, but the distilled beverage is gaining in popularity by the way that they are bottled. Many companies out there are taking their tequila to another stage. They are bottling it in very unique ways. Some bottles are hand painted. Some bottles are very ornate. Some bottles are special editions. Whatever they have done, they are making their consumers run out to get that one of a kind, only so many distributed bottles. Many people who enjoy the taste of tequila are now enjoying another hobby of collecting the unique bottles.
A lot of the tequila companies out there have come realized that not only are people drinking their tequila, but they are collecting the bottles. This is making them rethink their marketing process. Now, not only are they providing premium tasting quality tequila, but they have found a way to entice their followers into purchasing more. Not only are they purchasing a bottle to consume, but also a bottle to collect. Some distributors like Voodoo Tiki Tequila are selling their tequila in beautiful, eye catching handmade bottles. They have a whole following of consumers that will go out and purchase a new style bottle that is hand signed and numbered just so that they can say they have it. You can also find rare and beautifully designed bottles at online auctions ranging in price from a few bucks to hundreds of dollars. There is definitely a collectors following out there for the rare and beautiful.
