In principle the digital photography does not differ from the photography with a similar camera, because the result is with both types a picture, whose light is steered by an objective into a housing. The difference consists of the fact that the pictures are taken up not on Filmmaterial, but stored on microchip. The handling of the camera is nevertheless identical with both kinds more or less.
The large advantage of the digital photography is that the photographed motive can be regarded immediately after the admission. With analog cameras one must expose first the complete film and develop the pictures, in order to see whether the pictures the desires became accordingly. The expenditure of time is also very much higher thereby.

Besides one does not achieve with a digital camera as small sharpness depth as with an analog camera and also the noise with bad lighting conditions represents a problem.
The quality of the pictures improves however increasingly, which shows up last end only in the price of the camera. But nowadays one can obtain correctly good pictures also with favorable digital cameras.
