As you all know that Search Engines finds it difficult to index dynamically created web pages. Many search engines don't like these types of pages mainly because the search engine bots or spiders often fell into infinite loop while following these pages. This does not mean that Search engines are not able to index these pages but there are some restrictions:
In Google's Guidelines for webmasters, it is clearly stated
"If you decide to use dynamic pages (i.e., the URL contains a "?" character), be aware that not every search engine spider crawls dynamic pages as well as static pages. It helps to keep the parameters short and the number of them few."
In October 2006, we come to know from the official statement made in Google blog, that Google now indexes urls that contain parameters. They said:
"Don't use "&id=" as a parameter in your URLs, as we don't include these pages in our index."
"[Google now indexes] URLs that contain that parameter. So if your site uses a dynamic structure that generates it, don't worry about rewriting it -- we'll accept it just fine as is."
Keeping the above point in mind, we can say that a search engine can face problem while indexing a dynamic page with large number of parameters in its url. It is always advisable to use mod rewrite to rewritethe dynamic urls into search engine friendly urls.
We can conclude that if you have a dynamic page with only one or to parameter in its url, Google can index your page without any problem. If you need to use more parameters, then you should rewrite your urls to make sure that your dynamic page is indexed by Search Engines
